Cuba reports 33 new Covid-19 cases
The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported this Monday 33 new cases of Covid 19 in the last 24 hours for a total of 7,879 patients since the beginning of the disease.
As of yesterday’s closing, November 22, 3 thousand 092 patients were admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 724 suspected, 1 thousand 979 under surveillance and 389 confirmed.
For COVID-19, 9 thousand 967 samples were studied, resulting in 33 positive samples (0.33%). The country accumulates one million 042 thousand 459 samples.
Of the total number of cases: 21 were contacts of confirmed cases, 12 with a source of infection abroad and without a precise source of infection, 13 accumulate.
Of the 33 diagnosed cases, 14 were female and 19 were male. 78.8% (26) of the 33 positive cases were asymptomatic, making a total of 4,940, representing 62.7% of those confirmed to date.
