The Young Communist League (UJC) was founded in April 4 1962 and is the political organization of Cuban youth. Membership is voluntary and admission selective. Its main objective is the continued cultural, political and ideological upgrading of our youth, in order to help consolidating the conquests of our Revolution. It is also responsible for the comprehensive and multifaceted upbringing of new generations. Therefore, its activities are directed to the whole young population of the country.
