Venezuela will enable payments in Petro Criptomoneda

Caracas, Venezuela. – The Bank of Venezuela will make the payment in Criptomoneda Petro available to users in the next few days, through the PuntoYa and Biopago electronic channels.

These significant advances are part of the Bolivarian Government’s strategies to combat the blockade imposed by the United States, and have the purpose of consolidating itself as one of the main electronic payment alternatives in the country.

Managers of the Banco de Venezuela announced that they will soon grant credits in petro, destined to the productive program of the nation; because it seeks to turn this criptomoneda into a lever for productive development.

For his part, the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, said he believes that the Bank of Venezuela will become the spearhead of the criptomoneda, and will facilitate the insertion of the South American nation’s products in the international market.
