Venezuela calls for Latin American unity
Caracas, Oct 24 (Prensa Latina) The vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, on Thursday called on the Latin American nations to unite to resist the attacks of imperialism.
In statements to the press during a march of solidarity and support to the regional countries, developed in this capital, Cabello declared that this mobilization is to support Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador and all the Latin American nations that are under threats and aggression by neoliberal governments and the United States.
He denounced that there are countries like Colombia that have become Trojan horses, that is why Latin American unity is so necessary, he said.
Referring to the support of the regional countries to Venezuela at the United Nations, he expressed ‘welcome unity’ and recalled that this triumph is the result of the prestige of his nation and its struggle for peace and dialogue.
Thousands of Venezuelans march through the streets of this capital against foreign interference in the internal affairs of countries and neoliberal policies, carrying flags and posters of solidarity with Chile, Ecuador and Bolivia.
