Maduro calls for vigilance against criminal plans
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro called on the country’s military units to be alert to criminal plans by the extreme national right.
During a telephone call to the TV program led by the president of the National Constituent Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, Maduro assured that the current Venezuelan opposition is led by leaders with a criminal, murderous and unethical vision.
The Venezuelan president asserted that the attack on the electric service is part of an unconventional war to overthrow his government, and warned that the new strategy is not a direct conventional invasion, but the implementation of a plan for the destruction of public services.
In this way, he reiterated, they try to make the people feel a sense of chaos, malaise, and he adds to the desire to overthrow a democratic and legitimate government with the support of the U.S. executive.
