Díaz – Canel congratulates the People’s Republic of China
Havana, Cuba. – The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel congratulated the Chinese people, their government, the Communist Party of China and its leaders on the occasion of today’s commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.
In his Twitter account, the Cuban leader highlights the date when the Chinese people celebrate the significant anniversary under the guidance of the Communist Party of China and exhibits important economic and social achievements that magnify this Asian nation and friend of Cuba.
On Tuesday, the Chinese celebrated the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China with an imposing military parade, which showed the latest technological advances of the people’s army, aimed at defending the sovereignty and independence of the Asian Giant.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the Chinese government awarded the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raúl Castro, the Friendship Medal, in recognition of his contribution to Chinese-Cuban relations.
