American rapper Nipsey Hussle shot dead in Los Angeles

Local media today highlight the shooting in which American rapper Nipsey Hussle and two other people were seriously injured.

Ironically, hours before the event, on Sunday afternoon, March 31, the singer had posted on his Twitter profile ‘having strong enemies is a blessing’.

Shot several times outside his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles, the 33-year-old interpreter was declared dead after being rushed to the hospital.

Since 2005 Hussle started in the world of music through some mixtapes that caught the attention of other notable artists, in 2009 he published a collaboration with Drake entitled Killer and the following year he participated in the album Snoop Dogg, Malice in Wonderland.

With a Grammy nomination in the category of Best Rap Album, his debut album was released in 2018, with collaborations by important hip hop figures such as Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, The-Dream, among others.

According to an interview published in 2010 in Complex magazine, Hussle was linked to bands from South Los Angeles specifically the Rolling 60s Crips.

It was like living in a war zone, where people die and everyone is a little immune, I think they call it post-traumatic stress, when people have spent a lot of time in the war, Los Angeles suffers from that, because it’s not normal, and yet after a while we assume it as if it were,’ Hussle told reporters.

After the success of his music he began to invest in the neighborhood of his youth in several businesses such as the store where he was murdered.
