Diaz-Canel meets with municipal governors

The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, participates today in meetings with municipal officials to discuss government management.

On March 11 and 12, we will share in working sessions with all the Presidents of the Administrative Councils of all the municipalities of Cuba the priorities in government management. We go for more,’ Díaz-Canel wrote in his Twitter social network account.

The management of territorial administrations is focused on the development of local projects, especially those related to food production.

The actions will be harmoniously integrated with the objectives of the national economic plan and it is vital that government structures correspond to social interests.

Each territory will organize a work strategy for municipal self-sufficiency, where the principle of financial self-sustainability will be the essential element of this effort, according to the authorities.
