Contramaestre gets ready for May Day

April opens the journey for May Day, the international labour day. April is evocative so that the men and women of diverse sectors of production and services in Contramaestre already begin to speak of the preparations for this date. To demonstrate as in previous editions the indestructible unity is the workers’ commitment.

The traditional parade of mobilization in Contramaestre is valid for the 16 existing unions in the municipality. From now on, these workers are preparing to make the central slogan a reality: “Unity, commitment and victory”.

Striving for economic efficiency and aware of the fact that in the new challenges the protagonism of the workers is decisive. The working class of Contramaestre socializes the results of the constitutional referendum as the main motivation for the proletarian celebration.

Labor collectives such as that of Rodolfo Rodríguez Textile Confections, Footwear Factory and Home Furniture, are pronouncing themselves for giving this May First all the patriotism and joy that the celebration demands.

Centres such as La Imprenta, Pedro Alcides Heredia Workshop of Industrial Components and Local Industries and Construction Materials, Fishing, Housing and Food are added to the workers’ parade. There the human capital declares in advance to carry out activities with creative and mobilizing contribution.

With the conviction of successfully confronting the complexities of labor and union scenario, the workers of the aforementioned state Contramaestre centers will once again show the world a resounding victory in defense of the Revolution, socialism and the legacy of Fidel Casto.
