Contramaestre bid Antonio Prado a mourning farewell

Contramaestre bid the famous journalist and sports narrator Antonio Prado de la Fe a mourning Farewell, Sunday at 2:30 pm, with affection and acknowledgement for his life and fruitful work around the worthwhile exercise in the radio and television.

On the grounds of the cemetery in the town of Maffo, where Prado de la Fe had the acknowledgement and support of the people who saw him born, trained as a professional and perform successfully, co-workers, friends, family and acquaintances, gave the last farewell to who made the journalistic profession in terms of sport, a life sense.

“Tony”, as he was affectionately called by his friends and colleagues of the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC), was cataloged as “The Warrior”, for his stoicism in fighting against a conjunction of illnesses that finally led him to death, despite the efforts of the medical sciences and personnel.

In the last farewell to “Tony”, his colleagues from the softball team of the UPEC in Santiago de Cuba, co-workers and directors of the Tele Turquino channel of the province of Santiago de Cuba, of the sports editorial staff of CMKC Radio Revolución and of the radio station Grito de Baire de Contramaestre, of the radio and television of Palma Soriano and dozens of colleagues and friends who appreciated the professional with high esteem.

In the last farewell to “Tony” the feelings of his colleagues were expressed in this chronicle, showing the usefulness of the performance of this artist of narration and sports commentaries, who had already climbed national grounds in television spaces for which he was systematically claimed.
