Contramaestre remembers Fidel Castro with sport and recreation

The sports movement of the city of Contramaestre remembered on August 13 the 93rd birthday of the first and eternal Olympic champion, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz with sports and recreation.

The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) in this town in the province of Santiago de Cuba, used chess, the sport that served as a lighthouse and guide in the activity dedicated to the leader of the Cuban revolution on his birthday.

Ninety three ( 93 ) boards of the science game were placed in the margins of the park Jesus Rabí, where teachers of the science game coming from four sports compounds led the giant Simultaneous one. Sports glories, conventional and Paralympic athletes, municipal-level sports methodsologists, activists and members of sports clubs and the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) were direct protagonists of the emblematic activity of sport as a worthy tribute to Fidel, the eternal president of Cubans who maintained sports as a right of the people and who always taught them to compete for victory and for the Homeland.
