Contramaestre pays tribute to Fidel Castro
Contramaestre, Nov. 25.- Part of the people of this city gathered today in front of the radio station Grito de Baire, to pay tribute to the undefeated and eternal leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, on the third anniversary of his physical passing.

A pre-university student read an speech referring to the life and work of the Commander, which expresses the deep feeling of affection and love of the Contramaestrian people towards Fidel and his legacy.
The communiqué referred to the times that Fidel Castro visited Contramaestre. First, when he was a student in Santiago de Cuba, then during the last stage of the liberation war in 1958, and later at the inauguration of the Orlando Pantoja Hospital in the 1980s.
Contramaestre will always remember the eternal Commander of the Cuban Revolution, and his legacy will be our guide to resist and overcome, as he himself taught us.
