Quality of Education in Cuba to be Assessed

The country is conducting the Explanatory Regional Comparative Study, in which 18 Latin American countries will progressively participate, according to Paul Antonio Torres, national coordinator of the Latin American Laboratory for Assessment of the Quality of Education.

According to the researcher from the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences, the test will contribute to improving the quality of education and will offer a scientific framework for the analysis of achievements at the regional level.

Torres pointed out that the country has the technological resources necessary to develop this exercise, and that the teaching groups that will represent us in it were randomly determined.

This study is the third to be carried out on the Island and it constitutes a source to evidence the achievements of each country in the area in fulfilling the 2030 Educational Agenda.
