Solidarity and cooperation move Cuban doctors’ will around the world
Havana, (RHC) Sucel Alonso, Bachelor in Health Psychology and specialist in Institutional Communication in the provincial directorate of the sector in Ciego de Ávila, reaffirmed that the free and spontaneous will of Cuban doctors to meet the principle of cooperation and solidarity in different countries of the world.

The young woman highlighted the recent declarations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which states that the offensive program of the United States Agency for International Development is destined to finance actions and the search for information to discredit and sabotage the international cooperation provided by Cuba in dozens of countries for the benefit of millions of human beings.
The center of the immoral slander consists of alleging, without any foundation, that Cuba engages in human trafficking or the practice of slavery and intends to denigrate the meritorious work that hundreds of thousands of Cuban health professionals and technicians in various countries, particularly in the Third World, have voluntarily developed and have developed throughout history, he adds.
Alonso wondered whether the United States Government was aware that international cooperation could also be established in the area of humanitarian aid and the improvement of the living standards of thousands of people. I don’t think so, she adds.
It has been demonstrated that, like Cuba, they have never sent a brigade of well-prepared professionals, as a matter of urgency, to save hundreds of people from severe floods, epidemics, to remove them from the rubble or to travel miles through the Amazon to save lives.

More than 2,100 collaborators from Ciego de Ávila are currently working in 36 nations, who meritoriously fulfill their internationalist commitment and who were trained by Cuban Revolution.
As the most recent declaration of the Minrex states, this is an attempt against a solidarity effort that has received the recognition of the international community and the specific praise of the highest directors of the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization.
