Fidel Castro’s Legacy followed forever

Havana, Aug 13 (Prensa Latina) The figure of the historical leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, will be eternal and we will always follow his legacy, stated today the first vice-president of Cuba, Salvador Valdés.

Fidel left his mark on the 20th and 21st centuries. He put Cuba on the world map, no matter who likes it and no matter who does not like it. He endowed our country with an extraordinary global protagonism. His figure will be eternal and we will always follow his example, Valdés wrote on the social network Twitter.

When referring to the eminent thinker, the vice-president Inés María Chapman described him in that same social network as ‘noble cedar that grows in the dawn, a tree that leaves fruits and makes the earth vibrate. 93 always alive, always in force’.

Fidel lives among us, we celebrate his 93rd birthday, giving continuity to the monumental work of the Cuban Revolution. The best tribute, the daily fulfillment of duty in every job, every man and woman contributing to society, Chapman added.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez stressed the validity of his legacy by assuring that the Cuban leader is present throughout Cuba.

Fidel lives. He is in all of Cuba: in the dignity and heroism of the people; in our defense of peace, justice, solidarity; in the ethics of our conduct and in our resistance to imperialist aggressions, he stressed in his account @BrunoRguezP.

Cuba dawns in homage. Today is 93 years old the heir to Martí’s legacy, the undefeated leader who survived more than 600 attacks and faced without concessions 11 administrations of the empire, wrote in his account @DiazCanelB.

He also pointed out that more than 1,800,000 people from Cuba and the world have spontaneously gone to the stone that keeps his ashes in the cemetery of Santa Ifigenia, in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba.

According to the president, these actions constitute an act of faith, homage and commitment to the Cuban leader.
