Diversification in the Contramaestre Agricultural Industry
America Libre Agribusiness Company in southeastern municipality of Cuba, intensifies diversification of their productions giving gross added value to tropical fruit pulps.
Jorge Cabrera Naranjo, general director of the factory, said that currently the industry is processing different pulps of mango, guava, papaya and tomato.
Since the beginning of 2018, the agricultural industry of Contramaestre produces assortments such as jams, creams, nectar, preserves and tomato puree, leading to the fulfillment of the plans in values, but mainly aiming at its social purpose: producing juices and essential oils for export.

The productions of the industry are commercialized in specialized markets of the city of Santiago de Cuba, state and local agricultural markets located in the municipality of Contramaestre and tourism of the western region of Cuba.
This Contramaestrian factory inserted the diversification of its productions since 2007, hence it produces thirty assortments of high demand in the population and the tourism. The raw material comes from Holguín, Guantánamo, Granma and Santiago de Cuba provinces.
