Cuban Coffee from Contramaestre to the world

One hundred percent of the tons contracted for export were processed by the workers of the Base Benefit Business Unit in the municipality of Contramaestre. This is the main social objective of the agricultural industry in the region.

Contramaestre coffee sector authorities affirm that the result is based on the fulfillment of deliveries of raw material by the coffee producing companies in the provinces of Granma and Santiago de Cuba, the latter the largest contributor in Cuba.

This is coupled with the high quality of the coffee harvested as a result of the magnificent weather conditions during the optimum times of flowering. As well as the cultural care of the plantations through the proper use of science and technology.

Even though the production commitment of coffee for export in 2018 has been fulfilled, the workers continue their industrial work to achieve what has been programmed for national consumption.

The coffee benefited in Contramaestre agricultural industry constitutes an exportable line that brings substantial income to the municipality, which, at the same time, strengthens agriculture, the main branch of the local economy.
