Contramaestre to vote on Cuba’s new constitution in referendum
Contramaestre, just like all of Cuba, will experience a day of popular referendum on February 24, 2019. Date set for another exercise of citizenship power through a secret vote in support of the Revolution, thus legitimizing the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba.
The question to be put to the vote on February 24 will be: Do you approve the new Constitution of the Republic? This date coincides with the 124th anniversary of the resumption of the liberation struggles. This is a question that, according to Cuban MPs, corresponds to the provisions of Article 166 of the Electoral Law in force.
