Contramaestre Bank service heading for excellence
The staff of the Banco de Crédito y Comercio, (BANDEC) of Contramaestre summarized in a balance assembly its performance during the last 12 months, which is heading for excellence.
The outstanding performance of the BANDEC Petty Officer’s bankers is supported by their full identification with the general license and vision accredited by the universal bank system. This allows them to carry out their financial intermediary operations in accordance with international standards.
Notwithstanding, “the training and preparation of the branch workers on the course towards the computerization of the Cuban society, represent challenges to dignify excellence in service”, according to Yudith Fong, provincial subdirector of this trade union in Santiago de Cuba.
At the end of 2018 the banking institution in Contramaestre accumulated among its main achievements, a higher enhancement than the last five years in the portfolio of loans in national currency of clients of all segments, with 406.0 million pesos.
The staff performance in that period led to a 44.7 percent increase in the collection of liabilities compared to the previous year. At the same time, it kept the delinquency of social loans at zero, whose amount granted for this concept exceeded 25 million pesos.
It is also noteworthy that it has launched online operations with different payment channels. These allow customers to make queries both in local currency and in convertible pesos from their accounts associated with magnetic cards such as Virtual BANDEC, Transfermóvil, Kiosco and BANTEL (Telephone Banking). There is no need to present yourself at the institution, accumulating the issuance of more than 5,000 electronic means of payment.
