Women support the new Cuban Constitution
From her electoral polling station in Havana’s Sevillano neighborhood, in Arroyo Naranjo, Victoria Boloy will reaffirm this Sunday her decision to support the continuity of the Cuban Revolution.
She, a seamstress at the Lazo La Vega factory 30 years ago, told Radio Reloj that she would vote Yes because, in addition to being an act of citizenship, without the Revolution she would not have been able to study, be respected and valued for her work.
The young Yuliet Vizcaíno, a computer science technician at the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría, will also vote Yes because Cuba is a guarantee of the future and security for her young son Hamlet.
Together with her entire family, she will vote in the second electoral polling station in constituency 70 in El Cerro, because to say Yes, she stressed, is to continue defending the rights of Cuban women.
