Tribute to Frank País and the Martyrs of the Cuban Revolution
Santiago de Cuba. – The people from Santiago de Cuba, representing Cubans, pay tribute this July 30th to Frank País García and all the martyrs of the Cuban Revolution, with the pilgrimage to the Santa Ifigenia cemetery and the homage act in the Callejón del Muro, where the Santiago fighter was assassinated.
On the Day of the Martyrs of the Revolution, flowers will be placed in Santa Ifigenia in the tombs of the fallen, in the Placita de los Mártires and in front of the monument to René Ramos Latourt.
Special remembrance will take place in the Callejón del Muro, where Frank and his companion Raúl Pujol were riddled with bullets by henchmen of the dictatorship.
At the end of the afternoon the traditional pilgrimage of the people will take place, where it will be ratified that our heroes are neither dead nor forgotten.
