Russia will help Cuba in the energy field

Havana, Cuba. – Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Prijodko assured that Russia will act in cooperation with Cuba in the field of energy, damaged by the U.S. blockade.

He explained that Moscow plans to invest up to 700 million euros in the renovation of 10 electric power generation units in 3 Cuban thermoelectric plants.

For his part, the Prime Minister of Russia reiterated during his recent visit to the Largest of the Antilles that his country will continue to strengthen cooperation with Cuba despite external pressure from the United States.
