Released Las Tunas roster to the Caribbean Baseball Series
Los Leñadores from Las Tunas, who will represent Cuban baseball in the upcoming Caribbean Series, added 14 reinforcements to their roster, leaving the same number of players who wore the green and red jacket in the island playoff season and will now take part in the Venezuelan-based event.
According to the list announced minutes ago by the manager Pablo Civil, Alfredo Despaigne and Frederich Cepeda stand out in the large group of players called to shore up the squad, as well as the presence of catcher Oscar Valdes.
Since Cuba rejoined the regional competition, the number of reinforcements has always ranged between 11 and 15, with the exception of the 2014 edition, when Villa Clara only added six elements.
