Puerto Rican Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba to Be Welcomed Today
Havana, Cuba. – Multiple activities will be carried out in our country by members of the 28th Puerto Rican Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba Juan Rius Rivera, who will be welcomed this Monday at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp in Caimito, Artemisa province.
The 558 members of the contingent have a special motivation: to dedicate their activities to the heroine Lolita Lebrón, who died 9 years ago, and to whom they dedicate a monologue for the centenary of the birth of this outstanding independence activist.
From tomorrow, the Solidarity Day with Puerto Rico will be held and the forum One People in Struggle, Resistance and Solidarity will be held with the participation of María de Lourdes Santiago, vice-president of the Independence Party, and the fighter Milagros Rivera, director of the contingent.
Juan Rius Rivera Brigade rejects the blockade on Cuba, the application of Helms-Burton and they support the Cuban Revolution.
