New technologies in the sights of psychiatrists at a global event
The frontier of psychiatry in the face of new technologies is the central motto of the National Congress of Psychiatry, PsiqCuba 2019, which will be officially opened at the Havana Convention Center with more than 300 delegates from various countries, including 200 Cubans.
Mexico, Italy, Australia, Uruguay and other nations are among the representatives participating until Friday in the meeting, which will open with a lecture on the current situation and perspectives of Cuban psychiatry.
Likewise, Dr. Helen Herrman, from Australia, President of the World Association of Psychiatry, will talk about The Perspectives and Challenges of Psychiatry in the 21st Century.
This Wednesday’s scientific schedule also includes the lecture: Neurosciences and Personality Disorders, by the Doctor of Science Michel Valdés Sosa, from Cuba.
