Local Authorities Declare Residence in Contramaestre Pan American Home
Local authorities in Contramaestre municipality declared the house of Thaimy Gonzalez Tamayo, member of the Cuban water polo team to the Pan American Games in Lima, Pan American Home.

This is an individual and collective recognition to athletes who will participate in the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru 2019.
Leonardo Savigne, ideologist of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution in Contramaestre, affixed the stamp that identifies the Pan American Home, located at 27 13th street, Frank País Neighborhood, Contramaestre city.
Thaimy González was gold medalist at the 2018 Barranquilla Pan American Games and she has participated in other important international events.
She is now one of the 59 athletes from the province of Santiago de Cuba who qualified for Lima 2019.

Telsi Tamayo Tasé, Thaimy’s mother, received a bouquet of flowers in the name of the local sports family from Roberto Mesa Popa, director of the sports entity in Contramaestre, as a worthy recognition of the dedication and loyalty of his daughter Thaimy.

The emotive event was attended by neighbors, party officials, the government and the political and mass organizations of the city.
