Greek wrestling may take Cuba to sixth position in Lima 2019
Lima, Peru. – According to the good physical, technical and psychological conditions of the Cuban wrestlers Gabriel Rosillo and Ismael Borrero may take Cuba to the sixth position in Lima 2019, after qualifying for the gold contest after winning their respective semifinal bouts in the Pan American Games.
Rosillo, 97 kilograms, defeated Dominican Jose Arias by a score of 8-0, while in the 67 kilo division, London 2012 Olympic champion Ismael Borrero did the same against U.S. Elis Coleman.
Borrero will discuss the golden metal against the Venezuelan Shalom Villegas and Rosillo will do it before the U.S. representative Tracy Hanckoc, in both fights our team starts as favorites.
The 77 and 89 kilogram divisions also saw activity in the fight, where the Cubans Yosvany Peña and Daniel Gregorich fell in the semifinals and will go for the bronze.
The Cuban delegation is in the seventh place of the medal table in Lima 2019, with 14 gold medals, 12 silver and 11 bronze, for a total of 37 medals.
