Foreign Minister assures Cuba will resist despite US blockade

HAVANA, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed the unconditional will of the Cuban government and people to continue resisting US aggression and threats.

Cuban Foreign Minister said on Twitter:”the genocidal policy of USA vs.Cuba has been a failure for 60 years. The blockade, terrorism and imperialist aggression cause damage, but they have not succeeded – nor will they succeed – in breaking the Cubans’ will to resist and win. We move forward. Here no one gives up. Let’s go for more.

The head of Cuban diplomacy expresses his support for the recent measures taken by the Cuban government in order to face the meddling of imperialism, which, under Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, is trying to choke the Cuban people with effects on the national economy.

There were also numerous expressions of support for the revolutionary process throughout the country, following the statements made by Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of Cuba at the TV Round Table on Wednesday.

Faced with this situation, the Cuban President declared on TV: “We have a strategy to win and the US administration is not going to achieve its goals of defeating the Cuban people.”
