Diaz Canel Repudiates U.S. Maneuver to Avoid Supporting Cuba’s Resolution Against Blockade

Havana, Nov. 5 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez repudiated on Tuesday the pressure exerted by the United States on Latin American countries to avoid their support for a Resolution that demands the end of the blockade imposed by Washington on Havana nearly 60 years ago.

In his space in the social network twitter, the Cuban dignitary said that the government of President Donal Trump uses dirty and perverse maneuvers to prevent support for a report that for 27 consecutive years has been approved by the majority of countries in the UN General Assembly.

Likewise, he remarked that no matter how much blackmail they develop, Cuba is not alone, and an example of this is the confidence and interest in the Cuban market expressed by foreign businessmen in the current edition of the Havana International Fair.
