Diaz-Canel received the President of Ghana
The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received Thursday afternoon the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Mr. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is paying an official visit to our country.
During the friendly meeting, the leaders exchanged views on the good state of the historical bilateral relations and they confirmed the will to promote political bonds and collaboration. Both sides also discussed other regional and international issues.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor were the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Health and Education, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Matthew Opoku Prempeh and Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, respectively; and the Ambassador to Cuba, Napoleon Abdulai.
Present on the Cuban side were Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla; the Ministers of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Higher Education and Public Health, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, José Ramón Saborido Loidi and José Ángel Portal Miranda, respectively; as well as the Ambassador to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González.
