Díaz-Canel condemns meddling position of Lima Group

The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, said that the Lima Group once again reiterated its intentions of meddling against the Venezuelan government and he stressed an alleged negative influence of Cuba.

Through his Twitter account, the president considered that the group that emerged in 2017 follows the perverse instructions of the U.S. government.

Once again they follow the perverse instructions of the United States.

Our response is dignity against the Monroe Doctrine, Díaz-Canel wrote. On Monday, Lima group reiterated its aggressive stance against Venezuela and proposed that others join it in its efforts to overthrow the authorities of the South American country in a 17-point declaration signed in Santiago de Chile by representatives of governments such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile and Venezuela’s outlawed National Assembly.
