Cuban Vice President Meets with Japanese Ministers
Tokyo, Japan. – On the second day of his visit to Japan, Roberto Morales Ojeda, vice-president of Cuba, was received by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Keisuke Suzuki, who recognized the long friendship between the two countries and expressed the hope for their continued strengthening.
Morales Ojeda participated in the evening commemorating the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, reported the Cubaminrex website.
The Cuban Vice President also exchanged with Keiji Furuya, president of the Japan-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship League, where both authorities talked about the good progress of bilateral relations.
In statements to the local press, Roberto Morales Ojeda reiterated Cuba’s firm will to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons, which threaten the very existence of our species and the planet.
