Cuban group Vocal Leo sings in German Choir Competition
The 16th Marktoberdof 2019 International Chamber Choir Competition welcomes in Germany the voices of the Cuban group Vocal Leo, directed by the teacher Corina Campos.
The contest, with more than 25 years of existence, and one of the most recognized at international level, began its sessions last June 7, and will conclude with an awards gala on June 12.
Among the more than 250 candidates, Vocal Leo was selected to compete alongside 14 groups from the United States, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, the Philippines and Turkey.
The event, divided into categories such as mixed choirs and popular choral music, is an ideal framework for interacting with other groups, representing traditions, experimenting and establishing friendly relations beyond borders.
