Cuban educators ready for new school year
Santiago de Cuba. – With only a few days left before the start of the new school year, the province of Santiago de Cuba is preparing to develop a higher academic period, as the direction of the Ministry of Education has called it.
This territory, highlighted in tasks of the sector for several consecutive years, faces from September 2 an increase in registration with some 178,900 students, opening two new children’s circles, a semi-boarding school and a primary school.
The student’s material base is organized and planned in each school with the help of the entrance of teachers, who meet the necessary coverage of the 1,209 educational centers that will open their doors in the municipalities of Santiago de Cuba.
The commitment to quality becomes a stimulus for educators in a province that has always been at the forefront.
Educators from Ciego de Ávila for a higher stage
A few days before the beginning of the course, the educators of Ciego de Ávila are now intensifying the actions of cleaning, refurbishment of premises and the study material base in schools.
Conscious of their social commitment, these professionals beautify the centers that, from next Monday, will welcome almost 70 thousand students of all levels, who are assured of the essential conditions for learning.
The territory will strengthen work between school, family and community, as well as hygienic and sanitary measures to ensure the health of students, said the provincial director of Education, Barbara Rodriguez Milian.
New schools repaired and the incorporation of other teachers stimulated by the wage increase, are samples of the potentialities of Ciego de Ávila to face a superior school year.
