Cuba, fighting Homophobia and Transphobia
The 12th Cuban Day against Homophobia and Transphobia will be held in the country until May 18 under the slogan All Rights for All, with Camagüey as the host province.
Raiza Arango, Communication Specialist at the National Center for Sexual Education (CENESEX), said that the initiative is being carried out to contribute to the education of society as a whole, with emphasis on the family and young people, on respect for free and responsible sexual orientation and gender identity, as an exercise in equity and social justice.
She emphasized that this edition of the Cuban Days against Homophobia and Transphobia aligns its actions to the Rewrite Happiness Campaign, developed by CENESEX.
The activities include Galas, Film Festival for Diversity, plastic arts exhibitions, panels, workshops and community fairs.
