Cuba appreciates Russia’s position against the US blockade
Cuba thanked Russia for its consistent and invariable position against the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against the Island, after the 17th session of the mixed intergovernmental commission was held in Moscow.
The vice-president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, speaking in the plenary session of the aforementioned commission, commented that over the last year and a half this cruel policy and its extraterritorial effects have intensified.
Cabrisas also denounced the imposition of measures to shipowners and insurers to prevent Cuba’s access from third markets to fuel and its derivatives; as well as defamatory campaigns against the island’s medical cooperation in third states.
The dignitary highlighted Russia’s support, which Cuba has always had throughout its revolutionary history, and which is now more decisive and essential than ever.
