Acosta Danza begins tour around Asia

The Cuban company Acosta Danza, under the general direction of Carlos Acosta, began a tour around Asia during the month of October, which includes performances in China and Singapore, where they will be presented for the first time.

Lester Vila, press director of the dance group, reported that as part of this year’s Dance Festival, Cuban artists will perform on October 10 and 11 at the Esplanade, considered Singapore’s most important stage center.

After these performances, Acosta Danza will travel to China to perform at the National Theater of that country, and the performances will be on the 15th and 16th of this month.

Since its stage debut, Acosta Danza has the objective of performing dance shows in full agreement with the most current notions that are developed in the world, not only in terms of the movement of bodies, but in everything related to the scene.
