Young-artists in Contramaestre on anniversary

Contramaestre, oct. 18, Thirty-three years ago, precisely on October 18, young artists from Cuba were celebrating, with the fusion of the brigade of instructors, promoters and and that of culture technicians Raúl Gómez García, the brigade of writers and artists Hermanos Saíz and the New Trova Movement, gave way to the creation of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS).

Since then, this organization brings together, on a voluntary and selective basis, young people up to 35 years of age who have talent and work in artistic manifestations such as plastic arts, literature, theater, music and audiovisual.

Committed to the work of its young artists, the AHS pursues objectives and has functions that in Contramaestre will be the subject of discussion this October 18 as part of the actions planned for the date.

The cell of 16 members existing in this municipality, celebrates not only the 33 years of founded the association at national level, but with greater force the 23 of the creation of this association in Contramaestre.
