Season of Music began in Contramaestre

With the performance of the Municipal Band, began today in the central park of the city of Contramaestre the Season of music dedicated to the outstanding musician, composer, and arranger José Gutiérrez González, popularly known as “Pipito”.

This season will culminate on July 14, the birth day of this Contramaestrian musician. He conducted the local orchestra Los Astros, he played with Son 14 and Los Hermanos Avilés. He was also part of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Republic of Curacao.

The music season includes, in addition to the Municipal Band, the participation of Los Astros, Grupo Tradisón and Órbita 1. There will also be conversations with personalities of the local and Cuban musical culture.

The stages will be the different popular councils that make up the city of Contramaestre.
