Rustic children’s carnival, a summer proposal

The children in the Patricio Lumumba District of Contramaestre threw their imagination away and developed a rustic Carnival.

The impact was marked by the proposals. Rustic carts pulled by animals and decorated for the occasion paraded taking the children to the summer area of La Algarroba.

Neighbors, parents, teachers, and organizers witnessed a tradition rescue show along with congas presentations and fancy dress parties.

The children of the Patricio Lumumba District in the municipality of Contramaestre developed on Wednesday morning, a children’s carnival as part of the activities for Children’s Day.

From the early hours, the children decorated for the occasion gathered in Calle 13 of this District and in a colorful parade walked with their initiatives to the recreational area of La Algarroba.

The typical chariots arrived here, pulled by animals and carrying the infants who were dancing to the rhythm of improvised congas.
Some of the people present gave their opinion about what happened:

“The important thing is that they are having fun…. Everything is going well.”

“Everything is perfect, for the first time, it’s perfect.”

“It’s good because it’s something that stimulates people to participate and be better every day…”

“I didn’t think there were so many children participating, and that parents were so motivated to bring their young children.”

The summer in Contramaestre includes an option in the summer 2019 program of activities. This time dedicated to minors given the situation of scarce resources and spaces for the amusement of children in the municipal territory.
