Opening of the children’s art competition in Contramaestre (+Photos)
Contramaestre, Nov. 12.- Children in this municipality, always have a pretext to undertake activities that open the paths of their training for adult life. On this occasion there is the Children’s Artistic Creation Hall, whose 4th contest opens today in the central park of this city.

This event is organized by the City Hall System, the Municipal Culture Sector, the Ministry of Contramaestre Education, and the José Martí Children Organization. It is enjoyed by competitors, parents, spectators and art instructors, who are the children’s technical trainers.
All primary schools were convened, including the special school for children with physical and mental disabilities, and they are valued according to the level and manifestation in which they participate.

The Contramaestre Municipality has already participated in the last four years in the National Contest of the Children’s Artistic Creation Hall, with outstanding results including obtaining prizes.

We have the example of Jonathan Batista Aguilar, high school student Tony Santiago of the city of Contramaestre, who has participated in the last four years, prizes in painting.
These results opened the doors for him to participate in the event Mares y Costas (“Seas and Coasts”) sponsored by CITMA, with a national prize, which is exhibited today at the National Aquarium of Cuba.
His instructor Marcos Pérez, assures that Batista Aguilar has a promising future, in the plastic arts, and he proposes to continue preparing him technically, so that the student’s works keep really competitive.
