José Martí Brigade will celebrate its 15th anniversary

The art instructors of the José Martí Brigade in Contramaestre will celebrate its 15th anniversary on October 20th. The work of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, is one of the noblest programs of the Revolution in cultural affairs.

This youth movement is in charge of bringing art and culture to the most intricate part of the country. They are also the ones who contribute to the formation of men and women with ethical and aesthetic values, with knowledge and respect for Cuban identity.

To celebrate the date, the group of young artists of the José Martí Brigade in Contramaestre are planning a set of activities that will cover several communities and all the population groups with which the instructor works.

The program includes peñas, cultural break-ins at institutions in the territory, and recognition of outstanding instructors. A parade is planned in which the public will see the work with the artistic units and as a colophon, the cultural gala also celebrating the day of Cuban culture, in the central square Orlando Pantoja Tamayo.
